Fencing
For All
It's
not just our web name... it's our motto.
Fencers of all ages and
levels of skill are welcome.
Our current
membership is
comprised of
fencers of all ages.
Capital
District Fencing School (CDFS) was founded on April 1, 2005, by Coach
L.
Mark Dolata with the basic premise of "Fencing
For All". One of the truly phenomenal aspects of
fencing is
that it attracts both male and female participants of all
ages and
all walks of life.
Our objective is to popularize fencing
at the grassroots level by providing individual and group instruction
for
both the recreational and competitive fencer.
Our
club has an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Top quality instruction
is available in a group setting, through private lessons, or a
combination
of both.
CDFS sponsors training camps
throughout the fencing season with guest instructors from outside
clubs.
These camps are intended to strengthen the abilities of all our
fencers,
and to prepare our competitive fencers for upcoming tournaments.
